How our Self-guided Walking Holidays Work

Our tailor-made holidays are designed for 2 or more people, so they provide a really special personal walking or sightseeing holiday, and give our guests the opportunity to escape from the rest of the world and enjoy the beautiful mountains and stunning views of Axarquia, in Andalucia Southern Spain. The benign climate makes walking or sightseeing enjoyable for most of the year and Gustavo and his team provide a very personal service ensuring a very special holiday.

We can meet you at Malaga Airport and transport you to the hotel or the village house where you will be staying , you can also come with your own transport.

We provide detailed route descriptions for each day’s walk on waterproofed, laminated cards. We provide detailed maps.

We arrange to collect you from our hotel and transport you to the start of each walk. We will collect you at the prearranged time and place (usually an interesting village, country inn or cafe) at the end of each walk.

Evening meals are offered in our restaurant but of course you are free to visit the many varied restaurants in the area.
